What command is given after eyes right (left)?

Parade rest

Fall in

At ease

Ready front

In drill, commands that direct you to look to a flank are paired with a follow-up that brings you back to the front. When you’re told to look eyes right (or eyes left), you turn your head and eyes to the side to check the flank while your body remains in formation. After completing that look, the command to bring your gaze and posture back to the front is ready front. This resets alignment with the rest of the formation and signals you can resume marching forward. The other options relate to different states—parade rest is a rest position, fall in is for forming the unit, and at ease relaxes posture while remaining in place—so they don’t follow the eyes-right/eyes-left sequence.
